I don't totally disagree. The first Obama years were ill-spent. All the focus was on inherited crises in OEF and OIF, the Great Recession, and the push for Obama care. Plus it was 15 years ago and the GOP were already at war while the Dems were still in delusion mode. But I cautiously think they have learned something since then. If, say, the loathsome Sen Johnson were to suddenly resign and the Dems took back the House many things would get done.
