Hey John, I’m considering doing a deeper dive into the actual weapons systems deployed at the front right now if people would find that interesting. The 2000 British anti-tank weapons sent in three weeks ago, for example, are highly effective against the older-model Russian armor, but have not been proven against the new Armata which is really a wonder to behold. No troops in the turret, they’re kept in the reinforced chamber very low in the body of the tank which has these crazy reflective angles… CAS fire would still be effective, but the Ukrainians are not going to have command of the air. I still doubt we would see heavy Russian casualties in the beginning, but I agree that in the long-term the casualties would grow and present a problem for Putin domestically.
